Working with Absolute Building & Restoration has been a horrible experience. In March 2015 we went to contract with Absolute Building and Restoration to complete a whole house remodel. This was to be an 8-10 week job. At the signing of the contract we provided ABR with 10% of the total contract price and were told the permits had been applied for immediately.(they were not applied for until May, only after us calling him out on it) 2 weeks later we received an invoice for the majority of material for the job, we questioned paying this much at this early stage but were told if we did not our job may not be completed in the 8-10 week timeframe promised so we paid the immediately. We then contacted the county only to find he had never even filed for the permit. We then requested an accounting of our money including receipts for the material said to be paid for in the invoice. For months we have gotten nothing but broken promises and the run around. We finally demanded ABR provide an accounting or return our funds. Now over 6 months later still no material and no money. Be careful of this guy he will lie with a straight face, he is convincing but is really a total con man. Stay away from this company - you will thank me! .
