Lack of professionalism within the company. The central office did not clarify the work to be completed to its employee's, therefore, they came unprepared and delayed the project, causing our company a substantial loss of money and time. When contacted to complete the contract, the company stated that all work had been completed and that they were not responsible to come to the site. After going over their tasks repeatedly, it was found that many of the small issues i.e. Instillation of grills had not been completed. The company insinuated that we were requesting work that was not originally stated on the contract, however, the contract clearly stated the proposed scope of work. Our contract reflects that any change orders shall be approved in writing prior to execution of the work, the company felt that by our employees receiving an email, with an estimate, this would constitute an acceptance of the change order. Our intent is to make all other consumers aware of the potential pit falls in working with an organization that runs under a faulty structure as Temperature Control does.
