I bought an Acer computer as well as the software recommended by the sales person from Fry's electronics in Webster Tx. We loaded the software into the computer and the computer did not work so I returned it to Fry's and they gave me another but the service tech told me they were having lots of problems with the Acer. After thinking about it I returned the unopened Acer and upgraded to an HP. I took the HP and loaded the software but it did not function correctly with the software I was trying to load so I took it back to Fry's to talk with a service tech. The service tech told me he would have to make an adjustment inside the HP so I could use the software I wanted. I left the software I purchased at Fry's and paid for the service which I was told would be done in 2 days. After several calls I got it back 2 weeks later. I took it back to my business and turned it on and the software had not been loaded, so I returned it again to Fry's. After I picked it up yet again I found the software still was not loaded. I took it back again and told them I was not happy and wanted to return it. After getting passed from one person to another I again ended up at the service dept who tried to power up the system and it wouldn't power up. They opened the box and found something loose inside, and said they would get it fixed and working for me. I told them no, I was tired of dealing with them and wanted to return it. After several weeks and talking with the store manager, assistant manager and the corporate office they finally agreed to return it, but would not take back the software or refund the service charge. I was charged for service that I was not done and I have no use for the software which was loaded onto defective computers sold to me by Fry's. I feel Fry's has me given poor service and I should not be stuck with the software I bought in good faith after being told by their sales person it was what I needed. I was charged for and was told they would get the software and the HP working as desired. I gave them several chances to get the system and software working but they failed to complete the task.
